Santa Monica Proper Hotel

Project: 710 Wilshire Boulevard, Santa Monica, California

710 Wilshire Boulevard is the adaptive reuse of an historic landmark building and adjacent new
construction to create a 285-room hotel with approximately 40,000 square feet of ground floor
retail and restaurant uses.  The mixed-use project received its entitlements and completed its
Development Agreement with the City of Santa Monica in 2012.  YCG worked with the design and
development team to make critical tenant mix and design modifications and develop the project’s
financial projections.  YCG also assisted with the project’s entitlement strategy, financing and the
evaluation of prospective hotel operators and joint venture partners.
