York Consulting Group, as part of a consulting team, assisted Port of Los Angeles in the redevelopment of its waterfront commercial properties, encompassing several hundred thousand square feet of regional and visitor-serving uses. Our approach resulted in • restructured ground-lease and liability terms to promote commercial development and investment • an activation and events program (Cirque du Soleil and Redbull racing) • adaptive reuse of two historic warehouses into one of the country's largest permanent craft markets (CRAFTED) and a 30,000 square foot brewery (Brouwerij West) and • the successful RFP process (the largest in the Port's history) for the public/private waterfront redevelopment of Ports O'Call Village into West Harbor.
